Set along the western shore of Seneca Lake, our Dresden vineyard sits in one of the Finger Lakes’ most celebrated grape-growing regions. With gently sloping ground overlooking the lake, the site benefits from abundant sunshine, excellent air drainage, and the moderating influence of Seneca Lake – conditions that help extend the growing season and allow fruit to develop slowly and evenly.
The vineyard’s soils, shaped by the region’s glacial history, combine with warm days and cool nights to produce grapes with vibrant acidity, concentrated flavor, and a strong sense of place. The unique character of this site comes through in wines that balance freshness, structure, and elegance.
For us, Dresden represents what makes Finger Lakes wine special: a remarkable vineyard, a cool-climate landscape, and wines shaped as much by where they are grown as by how they are made.

Located on the pristine western slopes of Keuka Lake in Pulteney, NY, Doyle Family Vineyards is a first generation farm rooted in tradition and driven by a deep respect for the land. Our vineyards are perched on well-drained glacial soils, perfectly positioned to capture sunlight and lake breezes — ideal conditions for growing expressive, cool-climate varietals.
We specialize in Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, and select hybrid grapes, with a focus on sustainable farming and minimal-intervention winemaking. Each vine is carefully tended by hand, and every bottle reflects the character of our site and the care of our family.
